Section 37-65-113 - Closing of schools shall not affect retirement benefits

Upon or during any closure of any school in accordance with the terms of this article, the retirement benefits under existing law of any teacher, superintendent, principal or other employee shall in no way be affected by the same or because of the period of time elapsing while such school or junior college or institution of high learning may be closed.Codes, 1942, § 6232-51; Laws, 1960, ch. 316, § 11, eff. 4/27/1960.
