The election of consolidated or consolidated line school district trustees shall be held in the manner provided for in Sections 37-7-223 through 37-7-229 rather than the method now provided by Sections 37-7-209 through 37-7-219.Codes, 1942, §§ 6328-11.3, 6328-11.4; Laws, 1960, ch. 304, §§ 1, 2; Laws, 1981, ch. 409, § 6, eff. 7/31/1981 (the date the United States Attorney General interposed no objection under Section 5 of the Voting Rights Act of 1965).
