The superintendent of schools, upon order of the school board, shall be authorized and empowered to make such transfers of funds to and from the credit of the school districts involved as may be necessary to carry out the terms and provisions of Sections 37-7-501 through 37-7-511.Codes, 1942, § 6328-65; Laws, 1953, Ex Sess, ch. 29, § 5; Laws, 1986, ch. 492, § 42, eff. 7/1/1987.
