The facilities shall be located on sites selected by the State Board of Mental Health and approved by the Mississippi Department of Finance and Administration. One (1) facility shall be located in the northern half of the state near an urban area or institution having adequate medical and hospital facilities, and one (1) facility shall be located in the southern half of the state near an urban area or institution having adequate medical and hospital facilities.Laws, 1995, ch. 545, § 2, eff. 7/1/1995.
