The director of the treatment facility may transport any person who is now or may hereafter become a patient at a treatment facility and who is a legal resident of another state to the state of the residence of such patient, but only if arrangements to receive the patient have been made in the state to which he is to be returned.Laws, 1975, ch. 492, § 6(3); Laws, 1984, ch. 477, § 16, eff. 7/1/1984.
