In order to accomplish a program of testing for the disease or condition known as sickle cell anemia and/or sickle cell trait which will be most effective and efficient throughout the state, the state board of health may, by rule or regulation, require testing of only those persons who, because of race, ethnic group or other reasons are determined to be particularly susceptible to the condition.Codes, 1942, § 7076-22; Laws, 1972, ch. 414, § 2; Laws, 1983, ch. 522, § 11, eff. 7/1/1983.
