The state health officer shall be a member ex-officio of each county mosquito control commission and shall co-operate with them for the effective carrying out of their plans and work. The said state health officer shall serve without compensation, except that the necessary expenses actually incurred by him in the attendance of meetings of said commissions shall be allowed and paid.Codes, 1930, § 4943; 1942, § 7098; Laws, 1928, ch. 190.
