Reasonable charges and expenses for the care, maintenance and treatment of alcoholics in any approved public treatment facility under any provision of this chapter shall be a lawful charge against the person and estate of said alcoholic.Laws, 1974, ch. 562, § 12(1), eff. 7/1/1974.
