Section 41-63-7 - Confidentiality of names of patients studied

The identity of any person whose condition or treatment has been studied shall be confidential and shall not be revealed under any circumstances. Any person who reveals the identity of such person in violation of this subsection shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, shall be subject to confinement in the county jail for a term not to exceed one (1) year and fined a sum not to exceed Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).Laws, 1977, ch. 346, § 4, eff. 3/14/1977.
