No state institution shall give admission priority because of a patient's ability to pay. However, nothing in this section shall in any way affect the duties, responsibilities and requirements imposed on the University of Mississippi Hospital by Sections 37-115-25, 37-115-31, Mississippi Code of 1972.Codes, 1942, § 7146.7-10; Laws, 1962, ch. 410, § 10, eff. 7/1/1962.
