The purpose of Sections 43-21-901 through 43-21-915 is to protect and promote the health and safety of the children who are detained in juvenile detention centers in this state by providing for the licensing of juvenile detention facilities to assure that certain minimum standards are maintained.Added by Laws, 2016, ch. 438, SB 2364, 2, eff. 7/1/2016.
