Beginning October 1, 2016, the licensing agency shall conduct mock reviews of all juvenile detention facilities and determine what, if any, issues exist that may prevent licensure pursuant to the adopted rules and regulations. From and after October 1, 2017, no county or state entity shall establish, own, operate, and maintain a juvenile detention facility without a license issued under Sections 43-21-901 through 43-21-915.Added by Laws, 2016, ch. 438, SB 2364, 5, eff. 7/1/2016.
