The Department of Child Protection Services may, in its discretion, destroy or cause to be destroyed, or otherwise disposed of, any and all abandoned applications, closed case files, communications, information, memoranda, records, reports, paid checks, and files, in the office of the Department of Child Protection Services when and as they become three (3) or more completed fiscal years old and which, in the opinion of the department, are no longer useful or necessary.Added by Laws, 2023, ch. 516, HB 1149,§ 15, eff. 7/1/2023.
