Section 45-1-5 - Employment of administrative, clerical and other employees

The Commissioner of Public Safety is authorized and empowered to employ such administrative, professional, technical, stenographic, clerical and other employees as may be necessary to perform the duties of the Mississippi Highway Safety Patrol to comply with the provisions of the Mississippi Motor Vehicle Safety-Responsibility Law, being Chapter 15 of Title 63 of the Mississippi Code of 1972, and to perform the duties under all other laws required to be administered under the supervision of the commissioner.
