There is created in the State Treasury a special fund to be known as the State Fire Academy Workforce Program Fund. The fund shall consist of monies appropriated or otherwise made available by the Legislature and monies received by the State Fire Academy for workforce programs. The fund shall be expended by the State Fire Academy, upon appropriation by the Legislature, for such purposes as provided in the appropriation. Unexpended amounts remaining in the fund at the end of a fiscal year shall not lapse into the State General Fund, and any interest earned or investment earnings on amounts in the fund shall be deposited to the credit of the fund.Added by Laws, 2021, ch. 385, HB 9,§ 6, eff. 3/22/2021.
