(1) There is created a Fire Safety Education Division within the State Fire Marshal's Office of the Department of Insurance. The Commissioner of Insurance, acting through the State Chief Deputy Fire Marshal, is charged with the administration of this section.(2) The Fire Safety Education Division, in an effort to reduce loss of life and property from fires, shall develop and implement a fire safety education program using nationally recognized standards.(3) The Commissioner of Insurance, acting through the State Chief Deputy Fire Marshal, is authorized to promulgate such rules and regulations as necessary to carry out the provisions of this section.
