Section 45-12-1 - Short title [For contingent repeal of this section, see 45-12-21]

This chapter shall be known and may be cited as the 'Mississippi Fire Safety Standard and Firefighter Protection Act.' Laws, 2009, ch. 473, § 1, eff. 7/1/2010.See § 45-12-21, which states, 'This chapter shall be repealed if a federal reduced cigarette ignition propensity standard is adopted and becomes effective.'
