Section 45-14-33 - Unlawful acts

It shall be unlawful for any person to use, manufacture, produce, transport, transfer, receive, acquire, own or possess any source of radiation unless licensed, registered or exempted by the agency in accordance with the provisions of this chapter and the rules and regulations adopted and promulgated hereunder. The provisions of this chapter regarding licensing, permits, registration and bonding shall not apply to the use, ownership, transportation, acquisition, receipt or transferral of household consumer products when so used, owned, transported, acquired, received or transferred by retailers or consumers of the State of Mississippi.Laws, 1976, ch. 469, § 17, eff. 5/25/1976.
