Section 45-14-35 - Local ordinances, resolutions and regulations relating to sources of radiation are not superseded

Ordinances, resolutions or regulations, now or hereafter in effect, of the governing body of a municipality or county or the political entity relating to sources of radiation shall not be superseded by this chapter; provided, that such ordinances or regulations are and continue to be no more restrictive than, and consistent and compatible with, the provisions of this chapter, as amended, and rules and regulations promulgated by the agency.Laws, 1976, ch. 469, § 18, eff. 5/25/1976.
