Section 45-21-9 - Sheriff to obtain additional surety bond

Upon the posting by such applicant of the cash bond pursuant to Section 45-21-5, the sheriff of such county shall secure a surety bond in the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00). Such surety bond shall be in addition to the official bond of such sheriff.
