No city, town or other governmental subdivision shall have the power to make any laws, ordinances or resolutions providing for the construction, installation, inspection, operation, maintenance or repair of boilers and pressure vessels within the limits of such city, town or governmental subdivision, and any such laws, ordinances or resolutions heretofore made or passed shall be and are hereby declared void and of no effect.Laws, 1974, ch. 500, § 20, eff. 4/2/1974.
