Section 45-35-1 - Definitions

For the purposes of this article the following words shall have the meanings herein ascribed unless the context clearly requires otherwise:(a) 'Department' means the Department of Public Safety;(b) 'Commissioner' means the Commissioner of Public Safety; and(c) 'Identification card' means a card issued under the provisions of this article by the Department of Public Safety.Laws, 1988, ch. 570, § 1, eff. 7/1/1988.
