Section 49-1-12 - Wardens, game wardens, and game and fish wardens designated conservation officers; construction and effect of designation

(1) The term 'conservation officer' means a law enforcement officer of the department.(2) Wherever the terms 'warden,' 'game warden,' or 'game and fish warden' appear, the same shall mean conservation officer.Laws, 1974, ch. 569, § 1; Laws, 1994, ch. 592, § 3, eff. 4/8/1994.
