Section 49-1-4 - Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks to assume powers and duties of Department of Wildlife Conservation

The Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks shall be the Department of Wildlife Conservation and shall retain all powers and duties granted by law to the Department of Wildlife Conservation, and wherever the term 'Department of Wildlife Conservation' appears in any law the same shall mean the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks. The executive director may assign to the appropriate divisions such powers and duties as deemed appropriate to carry out the lawful functions of the department.Laws, 1989, ch. 544, § 113, eff. 7/1/1989.
