(a) 'Peeler crab' means a blue crab having a new soft shell fully developed under the hard shell and having a definite white, pink or red line or rim on the outer edge of the back fin or flipper.(b) 'Soft-shell crab' means a peeler crab which has recently shed its hard shell.Laws, 1988, ch. 548, § 3, eff. 7/1/1988.
