(1) Bioenergy produced from biomass is considered renewable and carbon neutral. When the bioenergy produced from biomass is paired with bioenergy with carbon capture and storage, the bioenergy is carbon negative.(2) Bioenergy produced from agricultural harvesting is considered renewable and carbon neutral.
