The following words and phrases when used in Sections 49-2-81 through 49-2-87 shall have the meanings given to them in this section unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:(a) 'Department' means the Department of Environmental Quality.(b) 'Home-generated medical sharp' means a sharp used by an individual at home.(c) 'Medical sharp' means a needle, syringe, lancet or other sharp object used to penetrate the skin for medical testing or for delivery of medication.
