The Mississippi Commission on Environmental Quality shall be the Mississippi Commission on Natural Resources with the exception of the Bureau of Parks and Recreation, and shall retain all powers and duties granted by law to the Mississippi Commission on Natural Resources with the exception of the Division of Parks and Recreation, and wherever the term 'Mississippi Commission on Natural Resources' appears in any law the same shall mean the Mississippi Commission on Environmental Quality.Laws, 1989, ch. 544, § 129, eff. 7/1/1989.
