Section 49-4-21 - Attorney General as counsel to Commission and Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks

The Attorney General shall be counsel and attorney for the commission and Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks. The Attorney General shall designate one (1) of his deputies or assistants to be counsel and attorney for the commission and the department in all actions, proceedings and hearings. The deputy or assistant so designated shall be legal advisor of the commission and the department in all matters relating to the commission and the department and to the powers and duties of its officers.Laws, 1978, ch. 484, § 20; Laws, 1990, ch. 480, § 2, eff. 3/26/1990.
