Section 49-4-3 - Definitions

For the purposes of this chapter, the following words shall have the meanings ascribed herein, unless the context otherwise requires:(a) 'Department' means the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.(b) 'Commission' means the Mississippi Commission on Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks.(c) 'Executive director' means the chief officer of the department.Laws, 1978, ch. 484, § 11; Laws, 1989, ch. 544, § 114; Laws, 1990, ch. 522, § 31; Laws, 1996, ch. 412, § 2, eff. 3/21/1996.
