(1) Any person who is exempt from having a hunting license and any person licensed to hunt deer with a bow or primitive weapon may hunt with a crossbow or bow and arrow during any open season on deer, turkey or small game.(2) When hunting during any gun season on deer, the hunter must comply with Section 49-7-31.1.Laws, 1985, ch. 340; Laws, 1994, ch. 398, § 1; Laws, 2000, ch. 343, § 1; Laws, 2004, ch. 532, § 1; Laws, 2005, ch. 525, § 1; Laws, 2008, ch. 468, § 1, eff. 7/1/2008.Amended by Laws, 2013, ch. 343, SB 2048, 1, eff. 7/1/2013.
