The board of directors of the Tombigbee River Valley Water Management District is hereby authorized and empowered to negotiate and contract with the United States of America, or any agency thereof, concerning all lands, easements, and rights of way necessary for the relocation of any federal road, highway, parkway, or for the facilities appurtenant thereto.Codes, 1942, § 5956-150; Laws, 1962, ch. 224, § 20, eff. 5/1/1962.
