Section 51-3-31 - Application for permit; disposition of fees

Any person desiring to use water for a beneficial purpose shall apply to the board for a permit for such use on a form prescribed by the board for such purpose. The application shall be accompanied by a fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00). Said application shall provide such information as deemed appropriate by the board to its decision to issue such permit.All fees received by the board as herein prescribed shall be deposited in the General Fund of the state.Codes, 1942, § 5956-16; Laws, 1956, ch. 167, § 16; Laws, 1985, ch. 459, § 17, eff. 4/1/1985.
