Section 51-33-61 - Release of lands where indebtedness refinanced through Reconstruction Finance Corporation

In any drainage district of the State of Mississippi which has an outstanding bonded indebtedness which has been refunded through the Reconstruction Finance Corporation of the United States, and in which all of said refunded indebtedness is owned by the Reconstruction Finance Corporation of the United States, any landowner may secure the release of his lands, or any part thereof, from the lien of the assessment of benefits thereon for drainage purposes by paying to the drainage commissioners, to be by them paid to the Reconstruction Finance Corporation, such an amount as may be agreed upon by the said drainage commissioners and the Reconstruction Finance Corporation.Codes, 1942, § 4659; Laws, 1938, ch. 257.
