Section 51-35-345 - Agreements with the United States, the state, or political subdivisions

The board of directors of the district is hereby authorized and empowered to negotiate and contract with the United States of America, the State of Mississippi, or any political subdivision thereof concerning the location, relocation, alteration, construction, changing, or closing of any highway, street, bridge, or roadway, or for the facilities appurtenant thereto, and all lands, easements, and rights of way necessary thereto.Codes, 1942, § 3665-24; Laws, 1962, ch. 226, § 24, eff. 3/20/1962.
