Section 53-9-75 - Application of chapter to public corporations

Any agency, unit or instrumentality of federal, state or local government, including any public-owned utility or publicly-owned corporation of federal, state or local government, which proposes to engage in surface coal mining operations subject to this chapter, shall comply with this chapter.Laws, 1979, ch. 477, § 32; Laws, 1997, ch. 306, § 36, eff. 3/10/1997.
