Section 55-13-9 - Payment of costs of land acquisition by counties

The state highway commission, for the purpose of acquiring lands as set forth in Sections 55-13-3 through 55-13-11, may pay one-half the cost of said lands so acquired by purchase or condemnation only in event the county in which the land is purchased or condemned first contributes its one-half of such costs.Codes, 1942, § 5988; Laws, 1935, ch. 45.
