Section 55-3-59 - Penalties for violations of rules and regulations

Any person violating any of the rules and regulations promulgated by the commission is guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction, shall be liable to a fine of not less than Five Dollars ($5.00) nor more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), or be subject to imprisonment for not less than ten (10) days nor more than thirty (30) days, or shall be liable to both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the court.Codes, 1942, § 5957-09; Laws, 1964, ch. 240, § 9; Laws, 2000, ch. 516, § 110, eff. 4/30/2000.
