Section 55-7-55 - Cooperation with other state entities

In connection with any harbor development and in connection with the construction of causeways, bridges, tunnels or approaches to the development as provided for in this chapter, the municipality or county and the bridge and park commission shall have full power and authority to cooperate with and provide the same in conjunction or jointly and in connection with any other commission or political body created and existing under the laws of the State of Mississippi, including the State of Mississippi. Said joint construction or undertaking shall be upon such terms as may be agreed upon by the political bodies or entities involved and shall be carried out in such manner that there may be no conflict as between the political bodies or subdivision involved.Codes, 1942, § 5974-14; Laws, 1960, ch. 434, § 14, eff. 5/3/1960.
