The board of supervisors is hereby authorized and empowered to set aside, appropriate and expend moneys from the general fund for the purpose of constructing, supporting and maintaining parks, playgrounds and recreational facilities in such county, and the funds so appropriated shall be used for no purpose except as provided in Sections 55-9-81 through 55-9-93.Laws, 1974, ch. 494, § 7; Laws, 1986, ch. 400, § 44, eff. 10/1/1986.
