The three (3) members of the board appointed or designated to represent the State of Mississippi shall receive a per diem compensation as provided in Section 25-3-69 for each day or fraction thereof occupied with the discharge of official duties, and shall be entitled to reimbursement for all actual and necessary expenses incurred in the discharge of their duties, including mileage, as provided in Section 25-3-41. The Governor is authorized and empowered to enter into agreements and to perform other necessary acts and deeds incident to the purposes of this compact and in authorizing this state to accept powers and responsibilities of the appropriate agency or agencies of the federal government related to energy.Codes, 1942, § 7096.5-04; Laws, 1962, ch. 509, § 4; Laws, 1981, ch. 311, § 2, effective as provided in § 7 of Laws, 1981, ch. 311.
