The board, the council and the committee shall serve as advocates on behalf of the citizens of this state before the federal department of energy and other federal agencies on matters related to the long-term or temporary storage and/or permanent disposal of high-level radioactive waste and transuranic waste.Laws, 1982, ch. 474, § 8, eff. 4/21/1982.
