The board, through the council and the committee, shall monitor activity by Congress and the federal government related to the long-term or temporary storage and/or permanent disposal of high-level radioactive waste and transuranic waste. The board, upon recommendation of the council, may advise the congressional delegation from this state of action which is necessary to protect the interests of the state.Laws, 1982, ch. 474, § 11, eff. 4/21/1982.
