Section 57-49-23 - Protection of state's interest in nuclear waste storage or disposal matters through judicial proceedings

In appropriate cases, the board upon recommendation of the council shall request the state Attorney General to institute or intervene in judicial proceedings to protect the state's interests and present the state's point of view on matters related to the long-term or temporary storage and/or permanent disposal of high-level radioactive waste or transuranic waste.Laws, 1982, ch. 474, § 12, eff. 4/21/1982.
