The said board of trustees may employ such full and part-time employees as is necessary to perform the duties of the institutions set forth above consistent with the availability of funds. Reasonable compensation and reimbursement of expenses may be made to such employees and others who provide professional services to the research institutions established by this chapter, including other employees of the State of Mississippi whose duties are increased by rendition of professional services to such institutions.Laws, 1983, ch. 512, § 21, eff. 7/1/1983.
