The institutions established by this chapter may, subject to approval of the proper administrative authorities at the various universities, perform research and other services consistent with the purpose and duties of the institutes, on a contractual basis for governmental entities, public or private organizations, or any others, at a price and on a basis to be determined by such universities. The proceeds from such work shall be used, in addition to other funds provided therefor, for the operation and support of the research institutions.Laws, 1983, ch. 512, § 22, eff. 7/1/1983.
