Section 59-1-29 - Appropriation of funds for use of port commission by municipal authorities

The mayor and board of aldermen or the mayor and board of commissioners of a municipality having a port of entry as herein defined are hereby authorized and empowered in their discretion to appropriate money for the use and benefit of the port commission to be expended under the direction of the port commission with the approval of said municipal authorities.Codes, 1930, § 4856; 1942, § 7553.
