Section 63-1-59 - Making false affidavit or statements

Any person who makes any false affidavit, or knowingly swears or affirms falsely to any matter or thing required by the terms of this article to be sworn to or affirmed, is guilty of perjury and upon conviction shall be punishable by fine or imprisonment as other persons committing perjury are punishable.Codes, 1942, § 8109; Laws, 1938, ch. 143.
