(1) Any warrantor doing business in this state in accordance with this chapter shall be deemed to have appointed the Motor Vehicle Commission its true and lawful attorney upon whom may be served all lawful process in any action or proceeding against it.(2) Any warrantor doing business in this state, operating without the authority provided by this chapter, shall be deemed to have appointed the Secretary of State to be its true and lawful attorney upon whom may be served all lawful process in any action or proceeding against it.
