The state highway commission is hereby authorized, in its discretion, to place amber reflectors on each end and on both sides of all bridges on all roads on the state highway system, which will permit a person to see such reflectors so that he might know that he is about to approach a bridge.Codes, 1942, § 8154; Laws, 1938, ch. 200.
